Visiting Hour By Richard Harris Directed by David Adeane A series of plays, comedy and serious, that examine the strained and complex relationships between hospital patients and their “unwelcome” visitors. In “Plaster”, a husband, hospitalised following a car accident, is visited by his suspicious and canny wife. “Keeping Mum” is a poignant monologue by a daughter trying to come to terms with her mother's illness. Finally, “Show Business” follows the satirical vagaries of a TV crew filming a documentary on the world's first quadruple transplant. “The writing achieves an exhilarating momentum.
